I'm guessing it is not but I haven't seen it talked about here. Looks like a nice unit. Right there with the Thermapen.

I've never seen one before. That's pretty cool. I like the light up display. That would be very handy. Priced competitively with Thermapen too.

I just got a Thermapen for Christmas and love it.

Looks promising... but I can't see the intended audience need a list meat temps printed on it! One major drawback - I bet it isn't available in hyper-accurate neon green!

Just an FYI - I got this as a gift from a fellow smoker - said Lowes was selling these at $7

It's not instant read but I am not a competition cook but it's - Backlit - Accurate - has hold, set, c/f and auto off.

Used it now for over a month and love it.
