I want a Premium Pellet Smoker and I've narrowed it down to the LSG 42 and Pitts & Spitts Maverick 1250.

I just got an email from Lone Star that their current delivery is 3 months +/-. The Pitts & Spitts is in stock at my local dealer.

I like the looks of the Pitts & Spitts. It's built heavy duty and seems it would last a lifetime. Reviews are mostly positive.

The Lone Star reviews are "entirely" positive. Most reviews also state the flavor is close to offset. But the wait...

Is the Lone Star really worth the wait?

FYI: Lone star
There was issues before?
Not sure what it was or if its resolved?
Just what I see here posted.
Just giving you a heads up ?
If I was going to spend a lot of $, I would be a bit leery? Just My Opinion?
I have not seen either one in person.
Only Issues that were posted here.
I am sure you will get some more actuate info from owners of Lone Star
Hope it helps ?

I decided to go with the Pitts & Spitts. I think I'm going to be happy with it. Plenty of room for large cooks.

Good to hear . Don't mind spending the money when you get results .

I've never saw this kind of smoke ring from a pellet smoker.
The open design of the SmokeFire delivers in that department for sure .

I'll be watching , so post up the progression . Interested in your thoughts after it;s all seasoned up .

That looks awesome, I'm sure it was as good as it looks. You can never go wrong with literally anything from Weber.
