IOWA state Fair this week

anyone from Iowa going to it? I'm going tomorrow, one thing i like, is the food

Just got back from the WV State Fair, it was a hoot. Ate plenty of grub and met the Deen brothers (Paula's boys) who put on a cooking show/book promotion. Hope you have a good time tomorrow!

Fair time is always fun, bunch of stages that have free shows, theres a blues band thats really good.

We got some farmers fairs comming up - gotta keep my eyes open. I love tractor pulls and Ox pulls. The always have some really awsome antique tractors and stuff that I love looking at.

they have old tractors and small working engens, the old ones that use a big flywheel, i know, ill take a bunch of pics and post them.

chish, do you know any thing about the Farm Bureue bbq cook off?, ain't been there for a few years, keep tellen the girls it's only every 5 years and we was ther last year so i don't make like i should.

If i remember right i seen one last year but i dont know all the events for this year, let me look through the event guide i got for today.
