Thanks,I got this ,part# 64ZQ5TTpics and model number? havent seen these yet
that doesnt pull anything up on the inkbird site. do you have link and or pics?
yeah, im trying to remember how the bbq guru adapter installed. I think it went in the inside with the port sticking through a vent hole?? the adapter doesn't need to be rounded per say.If what I think he has this would be the part that doesn't fit.I can't see how it would fit a curved bowl.
Normanaj, yes that's it,its not that it doesn't sit flush,it does,it's just the intake on the adapter doesn't line up directly with the hole on the smoker,I'm not even sure if it's a problem, maybe it's designed like that to deflect a direct blast of air?.
Thanks, going to do a dummy run over the weekend, see how it goes.putting a control on a WSM is magic! is this one doesnt work out check out the bbq guru stuff. might be a little more $$ but they work great. the partyq I had was the cheapest one they made and ran on AA batteries. They stopped making it but I loved it. simple and solid. even survived a few rain storms.
I like how to inside of the Guru has the air vent pointed down toward the bottom. I rednecked the InkBird to that. I hope the new style InkBird works better than the older ones.yeah, im trying to remember how the bbq guru adapter installed.
