I made a "no knead beer bread" once with a Belgian style ale. I loved it, but my husband took one bite and refused to eat it again.

This is how the conversation went.

Me: I tried a new bread recipe. (serves the bread)

SO: (takes a bite) This is horrible, it tastes like beer.

Me: That's because I used beer to make it. Bread and beer are in the same family y'know?

SO: Yeah, well, this ain't right... it's definitely InBread.

Me & SO: (harmonious laughter)

Beer bread is leavened with baking powder and is not a "real' bread. More closely related to a biscuit.
