Sorry for your loss. As an adult I have had 3 losses over the last 30 years. Mourn awhile then let another fill your heart. My three Son's, 2 brother Beagles and a Pit/Boxer, 6 month old, would drown you in affection...JJ
 
I'm sorry for your loss. It's a tough time, losing a dog you've had for years. I just went through it March 1st, losing mine to an undiagnosed tumor on her spleen that the vet missed. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
 
sorry to hear about your loss. having dogs my whole life it's always a tough decision to make, but as pet owners it is our responsibility keep them from suffering. still a hard decision.

Thank you, everyone. It gets a little better each day. But there are times when I have cooked something, and it's sad that I won't be able to share it with her.
I lost my last dog about 20 years before my daughter brought this one home as a puppy. And I remember thinking then, that it was still too soon.
