My name is Jon and I am from Southern California. I was hooked on smoking the first time I lit a couple sticks of applewood and smoked a pork butt. I received a Smokehollow 4 in 1 combo last year for fathers day and have been learning and refining ever since. I now own and MES 40 with an AMNZN smoker. Unbelievable the time I now have to do other things once the food is cooking. I still use the Smokehollow for appetizers but it requires a major amount of babysiting. Since my first venture into smoke the SMF site has given me the necessary resources to continue to get better at this passion (obsession) I now have. Thanks to all for sharing your knowledge.
