That's my old boat. I'm a plank owner from the Drinkin Lincoln. Sounds like you came in on a COD. Got to do that twice. Once at Subic Bay after we did the Mt Pinitubo evacuation of Clark AFB (we raided the Chart house there of all the classified charts), and then once in San Diego. It is a very interesting trip. Head between your knees for the launch and braced against the seat for the recovery. We were home based in Alameda, CA after the trip around the horn. I think she's up in Bremerton now, right? I lived on the Bridge and the Signal Bridge for the most part of my tour on her (did navigation).

Anyway, glad she's holding up well.
