well their starting to put what warnings we will be having for the next few days out.
Winter Weather Advisory was issued this morning through Thursday at noon. basically for 2-4'' of snow. not much wind with it until later this evening.

Windchill Warning from 6pm tonight to noon on Saturday. for windchills reaching -50*

Blizzard Warning from noon on Thursday to 6pm Friday. not much new snow falling, just ground blizzard conditions from the high winds with the snow already on the ground.

just hoping that the power will stay on as the power lines still have ice on them from the ice storm we had a week ago Tuesday already.

but if we can get by all this junk, they are showing temps around 30* a week from now. so something to look forward to.

Don't know about everybody else, but I getting pretty tired of this weather. 35 below with a wind chill of -46 here this morning. Not warming up much more than a couple of degrees all day.
Went outside last night to plug in my truck and walking on the snow sounded like I was stomping around in a bowl of Rice Crispies. You know its cold when it sounds like that!

I keep in contact with a friend from when we lived in the Seattle area.
They will be warmer than central Florida for the Christmas weekend! That is wrong.

That's what I'm wearing now... might have to get a long sleeve shirt out for the weekend

Hey tbern Did you hear or see about the 70 trucks that got snowed in at the truck stop by Vivian SD? Some were there for 6 days...some buried in snow. That would not be fun!

watched the video, quite the mess, and that's a long time to be snowed in for all those trucks!

so far the winds aren't as bad here as they were saying. still have windchills -45 to -50 below as it got a little colder then they guessed.

Closing I - 90 between Chamberlain SD and Sioux Falls this afternoon at 5 pm.

Earlier this morning it was - 18, - 47 wind chill. They pulled our county snow plows an hour or so ago, not going back out today...he wasn't sure if they'll go out tomorrow, supposedly gonna be even windier than today.
Closing I - 90 between Chamberlain SD and Sioux Falls this afternoon at 5 pm.
What fun lol!

You said it. I made the mistake of driving to TSC a couple of hours ago here in the Boro to get smoker pellets. Pandemonium is a HUGE understatement!

I just want all you people to know I ain't happy with ya you are all supposed to keep all that cold weather in your area and not let it get down here to me While we won't get as cold as most of you 15-20 degrees actual air temps doesn't happen often around here and sure ain't fun. They are also saying some moisture expected question is will it be rain, snow, or sleet of course once the moisture gets on the pavement and freezes they will close everything down starting with every bridge. There is zero snow equipment in FL lol

Just came home from doing chores...at times the visibility is very good but most of the drifts that were on the roads yesterday have blown away and are gone...that doesn't happen hardly ever!
