Few weeks ago I sent my nephew some sourdough, summer sausage to him. He lives in Idaho but is a firefighter in LA County.

I got elk jerky and goodies today. His daughter shot a big elk last season and it took 2 days to haul it out. Yes he did use cure 1 in the jerky mix.

The company that makes that candy also make Owyhee butter toffee. Really good stuff.
