i need help postin pics

Every time i try to post pics it says my mb are to big. I have a kodak camera easyshare z 740 a 512mb memory card. what do i need or what am i doing wrong?????????

I move mine to photobucket and resize them to a smaller pic...then post them here.

I'm sure someone else can explain it a LOT better. lol

no not at all. i kinda got that when my good friend who is a computer whiz even had trouble, which made me question his abilities.

I don't use photobucket. All I do open the photo in the "my pictures" file then right click on it and select "open with" and then "paint" This opens the image in the Paint program. Then just click "File" then "save as" and save the image under a new name. It is now reformatted/resized and will upload fine. I have never had problems uploading this way. It appears in the post as a thumbnail image and when it is clicked on it turns into the full size image. This seems like a lot of steps but it is really easy after you do it a couple times. On edit: I added a photo of my smoker so you can see what I mean about the clickable thumbnail

After not using photo bucket for a long while, my bud convinced me to try it again. When I first used it, it wasn't user friendly on a different computer with a smaller screen size. After tring it again tonight it works great. I can be a little confusing until you get the hang of it. But it sure makes nice posts. Thanks Erain.
