Way to go Ray! How exciting for sure. I've been considering going to culinary school myself, just gotta work something out with my kitties. I think you will do great, just think you have so much more wisdom now that 30 years ago!! Congrats and good luck, I can't wait to hear some good college stories!

You all are not going to believe this but today something else bizarre happen.  I decided that I still need some kind of income. So I went to local temp service online and filled out an app. I received a call from them saying that they had a welding position available for me and that I had to go to their place (temp service place) to fill out more papers. Well to make a long story short. She took one look at my resume and asked why I was applying for a welding position with all my puter experience and schooling. I explained to her about it probably being easier to find a welding position easier. Well she told me that she has a "direct hire" Systems Analyst  position open and that I had all the right credentials for the position.  She submitted my resume to them so now I'm on hold with that position. It sounds real promising. If I land that job I will schedule my schooling around that.  I couldn't believe it.

Thanks for all the great encouragement gang.  I'll need it.
