Well they actually weren't that big...

I smoked 3 butts today to take to the cottage this weekend. About 10 pounds total. I smoked it over cherry. Whole thing took about 9 hours.

As a finishing sauce, I took the dripping and deglazed the ban with a little bit of the root beer left over from making the sauce.

Can't wait to eat it.

Looks good, I hope it tasted as good as it looks. The bark is not too heavy. Most folks seem to like it darker and heavier, but I like mine like yours turned out. Keep on smoking, Joe
