I haven't Smoked in 14 days

And I'm getting all jittery!!! Yes I know I have a problem, and I know how to cure it.

So I now that I am back from vacation, still not unpacked (that's the nice thing about living somewhere cold and going somewhere warm, you can leave the warm weather clothes packed!!!), I can get ready for another smoke.

After work I cruised to Cash and Carry (for those on not on the left coast it's our restaurant wholesale place) in hopes of picking up a cyro pack of BSR's. They were out!!! They'll have more tomorrow and they will hold a nice one for me (benefit of shopping there a lot). I did pick up a few things for the freezer though. Pork BB were still on sale so picked up a three pack. Brisket was on sale ans well as Bottom round. So I quickly blew $100 and filled the freezer. Who's kidding the freezer was already full, now it's really full. So I took out the wings that were in there to make room. So that's what's for dinner tomorrow!

Saturday morning I'll cold smoke my Canadian Bacon in the morning along with cheesus because we are critically low on cheesus after the holiday blitz! I have decided that its good to go on long trips while brining, makes the brine time go faster. I guess the same could be said about smoking cheese too, smoke it then leave!

Saturday evening I'll smoke the BSR's on the mini-wsm and try out my possible entry for this months throwdown!

Sunday I'm going all in and making my first sausage! Pretty Simple Summer Sausage from Hi-MTN

I wanted to smoke on vacation, had I thought I would have shipped the Mini-WSM. There was plenty to smoke in the yard every day

Saw the thread title and since Im on oxygen and I visit other sites where I would send congrats for not smoking for 14 days. However I havent fired up the smoker for a few days now so you have my condolences. I see in your location it says Bend Ore. my sister used to live there but she is now in Oak Ridge now I guess. I am going to do a pork loin tommorow. Smoke'em if ya got em!

So last night I was kicking it with the Fiancee, had a few beers

(Deschutes Red Chair) and I completely forgot to take the wings out of the freezer

!!! I'm going to have to pick something up to smoke for dinner tonight or it will be 15 days of no smoking!!

It's going to have to be something quick, Maybe steak???

T-minus 20 minutes!!!  T-bones soaking up some Worcestershire. Will dust with sea salt, pepper, garlic powder, and ginger powder! Going to smoke at 250ish, then sear off. Using mesquite lump no other wood. On the now modified Mini-Wsm

I like the mod! Gives you the best of both worlds, bottom vent for grilling and sides for smoking. I may have to put a ball valve or 2  on my SJG. Maybe drill a bottom hole and put a ball valve there too, with a 90˚ elbow.

No mislead here. I hadnt smoked anything for awhile so the wife wanted a roast in crock today but as she walked out to got to work today, I told her something was going to get smoked. She  got her pot roast and I smoked a pork loin, half of which went home with my Son and his family. I used to measure my smokes by the pack. These days I measure my smokes by the pound and I dont mean the tailor mades. The family used to beg me to quit smoking, Now they come home to eat my smokes.

Exactly!! I'm definitely making up for lost time! Smoked everyday this week but one!! Canadian bacon and summer sausage on right now. Beef short ribs and hot wings for dinner!
