Teach a child to hunt and fish, take them hunting and fishing and you'll never have to worry about what they're doing...

I am a flawed Dad and have made more mistakes than I’d like to admit.

But my friend Gonna Smoke Gonna Smoke is 💯 on this. As flawed as I am… I have shown my kids the outdoors. I thought I’d lost my daughter who is now 18 to hunting. We always hunted together… She asked to chat the other day… she has a break from EMT school and wants to go elk hunting! You can’t imagine my joy in saying… Absolutely… but Not Today… 🤪 but the time you are off… we are there 💯

My son who’s always hunted with me just keeps getting more and more into it. First big game, now birds and is chatting with his buddy… they want to start trapping!

With all the negativity in this world…

As a Dad, I will support my kids 💯in positive likes and hobbies!

As shown before, we were blessed with success this year elk wise….

My cousin’s Grandson got his first today! He’s an handsome kid and I love the makeup after the gutting!

Twelve-Year-Old Hunter Takes Red Stag . . . In Tattnall County! – Georgia Outdoor News https://share.google/PTuByDcC0HoczkSos

Was like you say Keith, never know!

I’d love to go to New Zealand and hunt Red Stag… but maybe Georgia has some to offer! So awesome!

Had time this morning to read the article and how he tagged it. That is pretty dang cool!

Yesterday's hunt was to get big ole nanny does...you know...the ones that have twins. Trying to reduce the mouths we feed. Probably wasted effort, but if we don't do it, then there would be no effort at all.

No luck - a few tiny does and a lot of next-year-bucks.

Yesterday was the single best fall deer season hunting day - so far. Been crazy warm here until a few days ago. It was low 60F and high 75F on opening day of firearm deer season...I didn't even sit. First opening day I have missed in decades!
