The reels are cheap compared to what it'll cost for the trip to go fishing with Steve! :emoji_blush:

Ryan
Yeah he just cost me $115 on 2 reels and a rod I did not need. Although if I can cast these reels without backlash it will be worth every penny. I probably have $200 in 2 baitcast reels that I have been unable to cast with any success.

Hey Steve,

How much braid 15lb do you think these reels hold?
I'm guessing around 220 meters. The listed capacity at .26mm is 180m. The line I bought is .18mm
I have 15 pound fluorocarbon on the Kast king reel. That can only handle 110 meters. The braid is quite a bit smaller in diameter. This line is .33 mm diameter.

Let me know what you think about the rod. I "need" a couple yet!

that is a ton of line for a small reel. The Kastking 15lb line I am looking at is 0.1778mm

I backed away from the rod, just got the 2 cobra reels and a pair of sunglasses. Hope to try them in PA in a few weeks.

I am interested in the Cobra reels.

I think it is the same reel with a faux carbon fiber casing? Description seemed the same. In case they are different, I wanted both of mine to be the same. I am still mad at you for posting these...lol

Sorry! Not sorry!!!!!
After reading them. I agree. Same internals. Just different finish.

One of these days. I'll find the other 6 or so of these that I bought. Then misplaced!

That's actually a decent model as far as the spool mounting goes but the clip doesn't hold all that well when I'm doing my larger saltwater spinners but that was easily remedied by permanently mounting it. Had it for a while now.

After seeing this post I just ordered a second one for a backup through the company as it was actually cheaper than Amazon even with Prime/free shipping.Just needed that little extra "enabling".😉

Saw an odd and rare site this morning while walking the dog. Sorry, no pictures as I don't carry my cell phone with me and it is turned of 95% of the time anyways. Three deer crossing our land, two big does and a fork horn. The fork horn had only one of his antlers, the odd and rare part is that it's the middle of April. Most all bucks drop their antlers in March and a few in early April. This little buck already had the other antler starting to go the new antler just poking out of the hide. Not sure if it will ever drop the one that is there already. Will have to keep my eyes open for him over the next few weeks.

Just got in my line, surprised the 327 yards of 15lb the spool was only a 1/4" thick and maybe 3.5" in diameter. I guess it is really thin compared to mono? might swap out for 30lb?
