Our neighbor is bout 150 yards up the hill from us. Huge wind shear brought their trampoline just about wiped out the coop.

Nothing like a big sail in a windstorm......
A few years ago, some folks down the road had a trampoline blow down in a holler where even a tractor couldn't get it out
Close call. They need to be flipped over when the storms are coming.
Not to hijack or anything but somebody that recently bought a house on the way to town dug a hole in their yard with a little track hoe and stuck a trampoline down in the hole so that the part you bounce on is at ground level. I have never in my life seen such.
Kinda hard with a 14'. I anchored mine with large kite/dog anchors
I tried that ended up being a mosquito pit from constantly being wet
Yeah, seemed to me when I saw it that it'd just be a stagnated, stinking water pit beneath the trampoline.
We had just came across South Dakota an hour or two ahead of that storm. Flipped some campers over going down I 90 as well.

About 10 years ago we had a spinney wind event (tornado) pass over the yard. it lifted our trampoline and reversed it into a fence post around my garden. Spared sharing with the neighbors.
Definitely a close call! Glad it missed the coup!
I think the new twister movie was showing there. We got it later but was not near as bad.
We storms like that in our area and I've seen trampolines fly like that plenty of times. One hit the roof of the neighbors across the street from us, but didn't really cause much damage.

Close call right there!!
Back in 2008 ish, my buddy and I were out one evening after work doing some preseason work to our duck blind. The sky south of us was getting a little sporty, so we headed the boat back to the ramp. On our way back to my house we encountered white out rain and wind and I just stopped in the road hoping the boat was still back there when it was over. Once it cleared, we continued home and it looked like nothing happened there. However, about half way up my driveway it turns to the right and in the yard is my buddies 4' ladder which had been in his truck parked by the house. Then when i pull the truck n trailer around, his quickie saw is laying on the concrete in front of garage right side up. It had gotten dark by this point and we blew it off as a my FIL messing with us as he sometimes would do.
Fast forward to 930 the next morning and my phone blows up with pics of his truck! Turns out the trampoline rolled across the back yard, up and over his truck, tossing out the saw, carrying the ladder with it down the driveway and hitting every single curved part of his truck( bedside, cab, fenders etc) then rolled or flew or whatever down into our woods! Trampoline was tethered to a home made swing set after that! We still joke about the "trampo truck" and text go back forth when we are experiencing "inclimate weather"!

About 5 years ago, the wind took the trampoline at my daughter's house, carried it 40 yards and stuck it to the house. The support legs came apart and acted like spears. The new one has enough anchors on it I don't think a tornado would move it.
It just came over the news a community 40 miles south of us just got 6.2" of rain in 30 min. WOW
