I just found your site and being a novice meat smoker decided that I needed to learn more!  I am retired military, current gov employee, and have a combination gas/coal grill and a gas smoker (I hear your snickers! lol).  I rent so I can't build a smokehouse (yet!) but I am looking forward to trying to smoke various meats over the coming months.  That's about it for now, I look forward to reading more posts and learning!
