i have been reading these forums for a few years now, ever since i got a vertical propane smoker on sale for half price at sears (or was it target?). anyway thanks to your help i've successfully smoked spare ribs, pork shoulder, & brisket. my brisket is everyone's favorite.
i live in the high desert of southern california. in the summer it can hover around 100F, but right now it's 24F at night, & doesn't get above 40F during the day. but i still grill & smoke, as well as i can in these conditions. my online nick is theodopolis13, but most people call me theo13 for short.
i also have a horizontal charcoal bbq with a smoking box on the side that my brother is storing at my house since he moved into an apt. i've never used it, but will be asking you guys about using that once the weather warms up.
anyway i'm surprised that it took me this long to create an account and post. i guess i just haven't had the need, until today.
