How to get more smoke

I have an electric smoker and a lot of times I will have a slow cook going and I wont see smoke come out of the vent.  The chips are burnt but the meat will have a slight smoke taste.  Any Suggestions how to increase the smoke?

You need to get yourself an A-MAZE-N-PELLET-SMOKER (AMNPS) and use it to give you additional smoke.
