How much finishing sauce?

Just wondering how much finishing sauce you use with an 8# butt? I don't want to over do it.

I put it on the side, with a couple squirts from a squeeze bottle in the pan. No bottle? Use a plastic pop bottle with a small hole in the top.

I make up about 1 cups worth for a butt that size. I use maybe 1/4 of the cup to season a bit, the rest is on the side. People can always add more, but I add more spice than some and don't wan't it too hot.

I poured the entire recipe over a 7-8 pound butt. I am crazy I guess, but I love that stuff!

I used 1 batch for 2 butts...worked out well for me.
