On my weber smokey mountain 18.5? I'm having roughly 16 people over tomorrow and wanted to do ribs. I figured the best way to do this was with some rib racks but wasn't sure how many racks I could expect to fit on there.

Any help or other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ed

You can roll them, connecting the ends with toothpicks. Then stack them very close to each other to fit more in. 16 people, approx. 1/2 rack per person = 8 racks or so? Should be do-able....Willie

If I got some rib racks how many could I fit?

I usually just foil, let sit and then serve. I could always finish that in the oven I guess or stack them in the smoker.

This would be a good time to try a 'no foil' smoke. Truthfully, when I first bought my master forge gasser a few years ago I bought a rib rack at the same time. Used it once and tossed it out....PITA, IMO. Uncooked ribs were bending, touching each other and I just did not have a good experience with it.
