About two maybe three summers ago. Ice cream man came around in a van. Had to explain to the little man what it was, then of course we flagged him down. Did you know those dudes take cards now??? I sent old school with the push up and got serious looks from the family. I explained im old so it's ok.

Back in my day me and my 3 sisters got to watch all the other kids get ice cream .

We had 2 ice cream trucks - a Mr. Softee and one that sold all the freezer things like Bomb Pops and Push Ups. My parents were like from the same mold as chopsaw parents.

My mom would occasionally buy the popsicles with 2 sticks and make my sister and me split it.

Basically the same but thankfully the ice cream man did not come to our neighborhood. Safe but working class so he knew better. LOL I use to beg to do chores at my grandmothers since there was a 7 Eleven a few blocks away and she paid pretty good. Half cherry half cola slush OMG.

TOO FUNNY. Was gonna post about those. We them too. Tried lots of things and found Sunny D to be our fave. With Koolaid my cousin taught me to mix 2 packets together to create new stuff. Grape lime, etc.
