Don't know how many fans know about this but to see drivers like Gordon, Martin, Schrader back on the track is a must see for me.

This can be seen for free on the Racing America channel which can also be found on the Roku Channel and PLEX.

What will they be driving ? What track ?
Vintage IROC cars from throughout the series at this place:

From a technical standpoint the coverage was so bad to almost make it unwatchable.Dave Marcis was the grand marshal and the woman who interviewed him should be ashamed of herself, the shining light in this whole "broadcast" was Allen Bestwick and the only two real contenders were Kurt Busch and Gordon and they traded the lead several times with Busch winning. But like I said Racing America's coverage was absolutely horrible so much so that I feel I threw away 25 minutes of my life when I could've been outside on a beautiful Spring day.

Can't find anything under that title on plex.

I used to love the IROC series. That was some exciting racing. Man would I love to see reruns of the original races.
Hell yeah, those were often better than the Cup races.
I am pretty sure that was one of the models NASCAR was shooting for when they went with the new cars of tomorrow, all cars equal. Which was the fall of NASCAR in my opinion, it took away all the outlawing teams were able to do, which made NASCAR a great at one time.

I can't even watch a whole race these days, the races are watered down garbage.
They overruled, and sponsor shipped themselves out of the market in my opinion, it's a shell of what it once was, SAD!!!

I've been watching Dale Jr. Download podcast videos on YT and really enjoy the interviews of my old hero crew chiefs and drivers. I was never a fan of Dale Sr. or DEI but the history and stories that are told take me back to a better time in stock car racing.

I quit watching NASCAR years ago, and I didnt watch this, but at least it was Kurt you mentioned, not Kyle. That dude.... oh never mind.

Well, now you’ve piqued my interest and will check it out. Thanks for the heads up. Seen Stewart the other day racing funny cars. Man, the power those things have… they are badass!

been watching Dale Jr. Download podcast videos
Have you seen the Lost Speedway series ? If not look for it . I watched it on Peacock a couple years ago . Dale Jr . and a couple other guys do the show . 2 seasons . I really liked it .

I was never a fan of Dale Sr.
Me either , but after watching the special they did on him and the family ,,, gave me another veiw of him I guess .

fall of NASCAR in my opinion,
I still watch , or mostly listen the the races .
It's a far cry from the Stock car racing of the past .
Car brands had to build a number of cars with the engine specs and such , I think at least 50 to be considered a " Stock " car for the races .
Daytona Chargers and Talledaga Torinos carried the names for a reason . I still remember seeing A purple ( plum crazy ) Daytona charger and a yellow and black SuperBird at the Chrysler dealer .
I had a 1968 Torino with a Cobra package on it when I was in high school . 428 Q code engine . 4 speed , Detroit locker nodular 9 inch . Had factory 4 buckle harnesses on the front buckets .
Wish I had that one back .

I had some .pretty amazing cars in the 80s and 90s. I gave up on them after wrecking my last one, which was 1965 Chevelle SS that had a bored and stoked 396 in it.
I destroyed that car, and it still hurts my sole thinking about it .
Other cars I had were a 68 Chevelle SS that had a pumped to the max small block 400 in it. I also had a 1969 Camero SS which my uncle put one of his detuned aluminum 454 race engines into it .
If you consider lifting the front tires a foot off the ground detuned . LOL!!
The funest car I had was a1970 and a half Camero RS/SS which was originally a 396 B.Block car. After I blew up that engine, I changed over to a Small block 302 that was a winding S.O.B. it was then built into a road racing beast. That engine could fry the tires going from 3rd gear to 4th getting onto the freeway. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! All of the above cars were bought for less than $3.000, not including what I put into the engines and drive trains.
They all had 4 speeds except the 68 Chevelle that had a slap shifter and a turbo 400 trans.
I'd give a nut to have any of them back !!!

I am currently looking for a 1965 Nova SS
That has been gone through, I can't do the work anymore. I almost pulled the plug on one a few months ago, but it needed a new frame, and that is way more than I am looking to get into. It will get a 6.0 LS with air conditioning and a roll cage.
I've been on my head, more than I care to talk about. My right foot doesn't know it's limits at times. Which is why I don't ride street bikes anymore, whether it's my foot or wrist controlling the throttle, I'm doomed, I am a complete speed / adrenaline junkie!!!

I've also been eyeballing a 1966 Plymouth Satellite, that has a freshly rebuilt Mopar in it.

I have not and I will. I remember seeing the trailers for it but couldn't/wouldn't get Peacock at the time. Hopefully I can find it on a streaming service we already get. I really wanted to see the documentary on Dale Sr. Not sure how or why I missed it. Probably because the wife had the controller.😄

Lost Speedways was awesome. When it first came out on Peacock you could watch it for free.
