I probably know the answer to this but thought I'd get others thoughts. I have a bone in whole Boston butt that was purchased last year and put in freezer right away. It has a sale by date of Jan of this year, it has no freezer burn on it and I thawed it in fridge on Monday, is it safe to smoke or toss it? Has nice color and no odor

The date on the package is for "fresh". Once frozen there is no "expiry" date. Freezer burns (if present) will affect the quality, but is still safe to eat. Like buzz said....smoke away.
