Its from a big dead cherry I found. The tree is still standing.

This is a 4 inch limb from it.

It seems a little soft around the outside.

Want to use as chunks for smoke wood.
 
Doesn't look buggy, split it & dry it a little more should be good.

I cut up some chunks to let dry out.

I hit a gold mine if it good.

30 ft cherry tree with 2 trunks.
 
If that stuff is good, you'll be smokin with cherry for a LONG time man ! Hope it turns out good for ya.... You'll be set for some good smokes !
