I still haven't pulled the trigger on a grinder yet. BUT... this video of "How It's Made" about how one company makes hot dogs sure does push me towards a grinder! Or at the very least it pushed me away from buying hot dogs again. Well maybe not... I love those hot dog cart dogs!

That is one big grinder they have

It's not the process that bothers me, rather it's the contents of those trim bins that makes me worry. That stuff makes pink slime look good.

Now I see why so many here want to make their own from scratch. I've seen posts here of home made dogs and they look very appetizing.

Definitely score 1 for the little guys.

At least I know whats in my Home made hot dogs.

This is not a hot dog, but it is a funny epic fail for Jaime Oliver and chicken nuggets. It just goes to show you how our kids are programmed...... I for one have been trying to unprogram what my girls have been exposed to with my ex and society. Big time uphill battle........

Getting a grinder and stuffer are on my list, just after new smokers......

I respect Jaime Oliver and his approach to wholesome food, Especially since he got married and had four children. But man, did he misjudge those kid's reaction or what. They blew him right out of the water. The first thing my kids taught me is that you never know what those "rug rats" will do next.
