If I remember correctly, there's a Brown , Blue and a Targer Exclusive Red one.

Scored this late 1960's Matchbox Lesney Hoveringham Tipper truck in super decent condition for $2 at a second hand store. Can't complain for a 60 year old truck!

Also found this Lesney Fire Truck, not as good of condition, for $2 as well.

I like the Match box stuff . I have that same fire truck . It's pretty beat up . Missing the ladders and hoses too . They make the replacement stuff for it .

I actually have the file to 3D print the replacement for that truck but I haven't attempted it yet. Been too busy printing more hexagons!

Even though this version is in terrible shape, I was able to give it a breath of a new life by 3D printing a new ladder for it.

I have a primo version of this same truck though so that's cool.

I've had those since I was a kid . Not sure if I bought them or was gifted . I always had a train set up and running , and some of the fire trucks and heavy equipment stuff was for that train board .

Stopped in Walgreens this morning to get some allergy eye drops .
Just happened to walk down the toy aisle .
Any self respecting product of the 60's has to grab the Batmobile .
Hanging right on the end of the hook .

The iconic Batmobile will always be a favorite of mine. I have that one in black, red and gold too. I also recently got a Bat Boat!

I went to target to see what they had . Man . So many cars you can’t even look at them all . Looking for the other colors of the t3 vw van.

I've seen those ones in the bins at some stores, usually for $1 or a little more.
I can't help but wonder if they are the same quality as the ones that sold in the 60's-70's?

There's more plastic than metal these days, and a lot more fantasy cars that I have no interest in, but there are still a lot of good ones to be had if one desired.

If I recall correctly the last black one came out in 2022.

Most of the time there are 1 or 2 colors per year. Sometimes there are more if there is a Target Exclusive, Walmart Exclusive or Dollar General Exclusive. Sometimes there are Kroger Exclusives as well. I could bore you all with all sorts of useless knowledge etc If anyone has like specific questions, let me know and I'll try to answer.

Was back doing some grocery shopping today . Same store where I got the Monopoly car and the yellow van . Got to digging around , and saw a card that said peak pursuit .
Pulled up a yellow van . Then 3 more ,, kept digging ,

Daughter was doing some running today . I asked her if she was going to Target .
" Why ,,, Hot Wheels ? " was her responce .
I asked het to look for the red bus .
Came back a few hours later and said no bus , but I thought this one was cool .
I agreed . Lol .

I also found this in an old junk drawer . Found it in a school sandbox when I was a kid .
It's a Hong Kong original 16 car . Be a good one to try a resto on .
