Very nice work!

Thank you!

Radio Rentals in cream series 1 - 75 . Looks like 1968 .

Thank you again for the information! Does your source show pictures? I can't believe those little TVs have survived almost 55 years!!

I do think there is possibly an antenna missing from the top though?

My Dad and I collected Matchbox, Hot wheels, Corgi, and Pocket cars when I was a kid. We have around three hundred stored in printers trays. Here are the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" on my mantle.

Looks like they need some racing and some crashing!
I have a set of reproductions they put out maybe 20 years ago in the cardboard boxes. Hmmm where the H are they now!

Looks like a lot of people are Treasure Hunting today!

Yes . Missing an antenna . I sent you a pm .

I went thru the box today . Got a bunch in there . Some loose , but most still in the package . Also found these in there . From a happy meal . I had to do the " Mom's calling you " so I could sneak them out .

Thanks for the information and the PM ... those Happy Meal ones are cool!

How time flies and hobbies change etc! I'm still collecting but in November I bought a 3D printer and decided I was going to put up a display on the far wall of the stairwell leading to my basement. It's really a dead space and I ended up building a removable floor over the stairwell so I could accomplish this. The floor is built in 4 sections for easy 1 person removal. The display is made up of 460 individual hexagons and 10 filler pieces. The display is also in 4 sections, 10 columns wide and the top and bottom sections are 12 rows each and the middle two are 11 rows each. It's obviously still a work in progress as I still need to fill in a few colors. This display represents only about 8.5% of the total cars in my collection.

Wow, what a collection! I could look at those cars all day. I still have all of the Hot Wheels from my childhood. I'm still buying cars. I tell Pam they are for the grandkids. Thanks kilo, for resurrecting this great old thread.

I don't have any from my childhood so I am making up for it now HAHA.

In fact, I just made a trade with a guy for a couple of trucks I remember from my childhood and they should be arriving this week.

Thanks for the memories!
Hot Wheels were great, until your mother discovered the orange track made a great instrument of punishment.
HAHA I don't have to worry about either! I have though about printing some track pieces to make another shelf since the printed ones would be much stiffer!

My brother was a collector... He had over 1,000 cars... He passed away last year and his wife sold the whole lot for $5,000 (I believe)... Somebody got a killer deal I can tell you that...

He sent me 2 Jack Daniels cars... One was black with white lettering and the other was white with black lettering...

Sorry about your loss... someone will likely get a heck of a deal when it's my time as well.

Received these two in the mail today from a trade I did with a fella in Illinois. Still need to find the light blue one and one of the orange ones.

Lol . was at the Goodwill last Thursday and they had 4 or 5 HotWheels in the blister pack .
One was a pickup . I'll have to go see if they're still there . 2 bucks each , I should have just bought them , but had just spent a couple hundred at Lowes .

I'll look at my Son's . He has the newer ones . Might be one in there .

Now, if anyone could tell me if they actually made a truck they numbered 3 for this set, and if so, what was it?!

I did a quick search and found a No. 3 , but also saw the pack of 5 . So 5 trucks numbered 1 through 5 in a set .
Since Daytona race is today .
1999 Bill Elliot . I have several of the Nascar ones .
