Woah woah, that's asking too much. It's like $6+ for a tiny jar... But yes, some Asian owned restaurants do have it for you LOL.

It's not that expensive in Iowa... and it's a must have with the eggs too! HAHA

Chili oil is expensive here too, and I don’t care for the soybean oil. I toast up some dried chilis in a pan, add oil of your choice, some slivers of garlic. Heat it up a little, let it cool and stick it in the fridge for when you need it. Way less than $6.
Don’t use olive oil, it solidifies in the fridge.

I'm using Garlic Chili Sauce, not Chili Oil.

Yup, that's the one. Important to remember "a little goes a long way" with this one because it can get salty quick. But it does taste great on eggs!

Garlic chili oil as well, but that is something I prefer to make on my own!

Between the corned beef, the Garlic Chili Sauce and the Soy Sauce, I'd be afraid to know the sodium levels, but with the potatoes needing some seasoning, it worked out well and tasted balanced!

Thank you David!

KC, Good looking hash, I'm just finishing off the hash my wife made. Yours looks better but don't tell her that ! :)

HAHA! Thank you and your secret is safe with me!

Oh, now that is totally affordable around here. I know you can buy it almost everywhere but the Asian stores are the cheapest and there’s a few Korean and Japanese markets around Chicago.

Definitely cheaper at the Asian marketplaces, but even Walmart carries it.

I love corned beef hash. I do miss it on a low carb diet (no potatoes). Yours looks awesome!
