I am new to Hobart slicers. I had a friend that gave me his old 1512-D because it was to heavy for him to lug around. The one thing it is missing is the sharpening setup. AI trying to tell me the 512 sharpener is the same but any of them I find doesn’t list the 1512. Just trying to see if I can get one. Blade sharp right now but trying to be proactive. Also are the blades compatible if I need one in the future?

Anyone?

Just call your local Hobart Food Equipment dealer and buy one from them.
You'll pay full retail but they last forever.

It's possible they have used ones laying around.
