Himalayan salt block

Today for fathers day my daughter got me a himalayan salt block was wondering if anyone else has ever used one. I got everything in the world for smoking and grilling but i got to say never heard of this. seen on you tube people cooking alot of different things like fish,steaks,sausages , ect,ect. Going to try some steaks I think for the first time will let everyone know how it works out thanks in advance for imput

I have one and love it. I cook steak ,shrimp,and chicken wings on it. It's awesome!

Wow thanks when you cooked the steaks do you season the same I like alot steak seasoning

Season as you would normally EXCEPT use much less salt if any at all.  You will pick up a great salt taste right from the block!!!
