Just wanted to stop by and say hello.

My name is Wes. My son Nathan is 10 and loves to hunt almost as much as I do. This will be our first year to make our on sausage. I must say that finding this place has been a great help. We started Saturday and did not have any time to smoke on Sunday so I hope to case and start the smoker tonight. I will start a thread in a day or so with some pics to let you seasoned vets laugh at us as we stumble thru our first batch.

Welcome to the forum.  Glad to have you aboard.

First off Welcome Wes and your son too to SMF. You'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.
