I'm from Northern NY..my kids got me a Smokin-It smoker for my birthday and i am LOVING it!!! But i'm a novice...so any help is always appreciated!! I own a bakery and have a catering license, so, you never know..although I'm too busy now with the cakes to do smoked meat too...

Thanks for the tips i've been checking the forums when i start a new cut of meat!!!

Use the Search here to look up your smoker and see how people use them. We have a lot of people here in catering and BBQ competition; they could advise you on business matters related to smoking.

Welcome Holly! I've been smokin over 15 years and sometimes still feel like a novice, theres always more to learn it seems. The basics will become second nature with practice and info from smf
