Please post your thoughts on the 1975 when you get a chance. I'm really interested in an offset and that's on the short list!! There are just so many in that price range...what sold you on it?

You guys will be the first to know when I get that thing. Unfortunately, mine is not slated for production until November, so it's going to be a while. I went with workhorse because of the 3/8" steel, the awesome reviews, and the wagon package. My backyard is mostly rock, so I would have a hell of a time getting it back there with traditional casters.

Gotcha. So the wagon package is a HUGE sell for me too. Looking forward to seeing what comes off of it!!

Welcome Brandon from Mass! I've had my OKJ Highland for 6 years now and after 2 years of trial & error I've found to be the best combination of mods that work for my style. I'll attach some pics to support my verbiage. In no way, shape or form am I looking to get into what Harry Soo would call a 12 hour BBQ debate on rights & wrongs! So in no specific order the mods consist of:
1) 18" Stack Extension
2) Grate Level Drop Kit
3) Firebox Grate "Vee Formation"
4) Firebox "Upward Direction Baffle Plate"

Wow! 3/8 steel?!?! Along with the Weber Kettle and the pellet machine, you've got some fine tools in your cooking arsenal.
Welcome indeed!
