Hi! I'm Matt from Denver.  I'm completely new to smoking.  I've been hooked on restaurant ribs long enough I thought I'd try making some for myself.  I don't have a smoker yet.  I'm trying to figure out what the differences in the smoker styles are.  What are the major differences between upright and offset smokers?  Any advice on high altitude smoking would be appreciated too!

Thanks

Hey Matt, welcome, There are a lot to choose from out there. Do a lot of research and see what fits your needs and would work best for you. Everyone here can help you with your smoking and mod's if you need them. I have always been a charcoal and stick burner, my good friend Bearcarver does all his on electric.
