Welcome to SMF! Might wanna clean off the grates and wipe down the inside with a damp rag... spray with a bit of Pam and do a trial run empty to <1 Season the smoker and remove any manufacturing gunk and <2 familarize yourself with it's operation before investing in meat.

Again, welcome and enjoy!

Welcome to SMF. Lots of good folk here to help you out. Ask any questions that you may have, someone will be along with an answer.

Welcome to the SMF. They have you covered well already. I could add to start with Jeff's rubs (a few $) assuming you don't do yer own. Next decide what meat to try first. A pork butt is good (takes a while) -- see the sticky in the Pork forum.

Welcome, I'm a newbie myself but I've already gotten some great help from these guys, a really good group (and the recipes, to die for brah). Good luck..have fun
