Well, let's see what I can tell you about myself. I live in South Georgia...you know, the peach state. I enjoy cooking, gardening, the beach, and genealogy. I come from a very long line of great Southern cooks. I can only dream of being as good of a cook as either of my parents, or paternal grandmother.

I will be purchasing a Masterbuilt 40" Electric Smoker this weekend. This will be my first electric smoker. Several years back, I owned a couple of cheap Brinkman bullet style smokers, which I modded to run on propane. I churned out some pretty good Q on them, based on the lip smacking, moaning, and groaning from everybody while they were eating.

I haven't done any smoking in about 6 or 7 years...but I'm looking forward to learning how to smoke on an electric smoker. I am quite interested in eventually learning to smoke pork bellies for bacon...everything is better with bacon!

I look forward to getting to know y'all and learning a lot.

Y'all take care,

Corndog
