I've been reading these forums for some time and just signed up. I live in Charlotte, NC but learned to BBQ in KC. I just bought a Brinkmann Trailmaster Vertical Smoker. I read all the warnings about the leaks, but have done the mods with RTV silicone and gaskets. I seasoned it today. Very happy so far. No smoke leaking from doors or seams. This smoker is an upgrade from a Master forge bullet smoker that did a good job but just wasn't big enough for my liking. I've smoked ribs, pork buts, brisket and turkeys so I have a good sense about the how to's. Now I want to make them great. I'm looking forward to reading the advice of everyone on this site.
