I have been trying to post Q-view,but even after editing my pics(jpeg) I cannot get the file small enough to upload onto forum. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, please and thank you.

P.S.
I'm using a Samsung Digimax S500 5.1 megapixel camera.

If you are using Photobucket to host your images you can resize them there and you shouldn't have a problem.

Just click on edit and when it brings up your photo click resize.

I wouldn't go any larger than 450px × 340px that is an ideal size that can be viewed without a magnifing glass for us old foogies. lol

Thanks I'll give that a try, and I second on the magnifying glass LOL. I was trying to upload direct from my computer.

Beer-B-Q, I got signed up and uploaded pics on Photobucket.I just got a request from the Mrs. to make chicken salad with leftover beerbut chicken from Sun. before I have to go to work. I'll try and upload to forum when I get home tonite. Thanks again for your quick response.couldn't find exact resolution size you mentioned theres one a little smaller and one a little bigger, will try slightly larger first (for us old farts LOL).

P.S. on the leftover chicken,I usually have to intentionally make twice as much to have leftovers. If you haven't tried this it is an excellent way to use leftover smoked chicken.

If you need any more help you can always PM me, I am always around usually 24/7.

640X480 is an xlnt size to post to the forum. If your camera has the ability to shoot at 640X480 it will cut down on the upload time to Photobucket.

What they ^^^^^^^all said. Photobucket is the trick just sign up and follow the directions.

When you paste the link from photobucket into your message, scroll down and click on "Preview post" If you've done everything correctly, you'll see your photos displayed. You can continue to add/edit. That way, you'll know before you submit, if your pic link works.
