HELP - FIRST TIME SMOKER

Hello MeaT Forum,

I want to entertain the family with my smoker for the first time this weekend.

Please can someone advice some good pieces of meat for a sharing style?

The cut needs to be relatively inexpensive.

First off Kelly welcome to SMF and were glad to have you aboard...Can you swing over to roll call and introduce yourself so we can give you a proper welcome and don't forget to fill out your location in your profile........

Your best bet would be a pork shoulder/boston butt.. Fairly inexpensive and forgiving in the smoker.... I would serve some pulled pork to my guests.....
