Help finding wood

[camp 6 lake]

We have just bought a pit.  Our first smoke was fabulous, but I had bought a box of apple wood (a little costly) which worked out, but I've quickly learned we need LOGS!  Does anyone know where we can buy wood in upstate New York?  Looking for apple, cherry, maple and hickory.  Thanks for whatever you can share.

Check out local tree trimmers, they usually sell fire wood.
