A while back someone on here posted a recipie for a chicken, hot sauce, and cream cheese that was baked. I've looked (obviously not) everywhere, but can't seem to find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry I haven't checked back to this thread in a while. I scrapped the idea of making this dish last weekend.

Thanks Beer. Sure looks darned tasty, but that's not it. This was more of something that was done in a cassarole dish in the oven.

Hey Dude what about this:

Buffalo Chicken Dip

6oz Franks hot sauce (more or less to taste)
2 cups of canned cooked chicken (cut up)
¾ cup finely chopped celery
2 8oz packages cream cheese
1 cup ranch dressing
1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350. Put the chicken, hot sauce, celery, cream cheese into a sauté pan and heat until the cream cheese is melted. Add the ranch dressing and stir to mix well. Pour the mixture into an oven safe baking dish and sprinkle with the cheddar cheese. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve with celery sticks or tortilla chips. It taste just like hot wings!!!

It is one of my family favorites.

Dude,

Glad you found what you were looking for. Below is a favorite which uses jalapeno instead of hot sauce. Hugely popular w/ tortilla chips, can put it together quickly if chix canned or already pulled. Haven't smoked the entire casserole yet...
  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (pulled or canned works great, too)
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar mayonnaise
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chile peppers
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, finely diced (or more to taste)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place shredded chicken in a medium bowl, and mix in cream cheese, mayonnaise, Cheddar cheese, green chile peppers and jalapeño pepper. Transfer the chicken mixture to a medium baking dish.
  3. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Hmmm which of these do I use.... Great timing to bring this dip up, Dude! I just so happen to have some leftover chicken...
