Reading lots but not clear on putting wood in im gonna use masterbuilt pro dual fuel I'm using propane am I putting wood on to make smoke the whole cook time ?
Nope BBQ is just about all opinion. From previous experience with gas smokers I would use wood until internal temp hits 160. Good thing about propane is you can stop smoke anytime you want. Wrapping is up to you, some do some don't. Main rule is let it be until it hits the temp you want. Trying to go away from your original plan (whatever it may be) just to get it done sooner seldom works.
I searched YouTube and there were lots of helpful videos and opinions as well as on here, just keep asking. I smoke to 150 meat temp, then into foil pan till done. Works great.
