A friend gave my hubby and I a Electric Brinkmann Smoker/Grill and we did out first Smoke on it yesterday!

Did about 5 Chicken Quarters and they came out YUMMY!

This smoker is one of the older Brinkmanns and is what I guess you would say is "Bare Bones". (No Temp Guage, and we had to get some new Lava Rock). The friend who gave it to us said he couldn't get it to come up to temp and hold the temperature. With this first try, it did great!

We could us some pointers from those who have use these smokers. I have been getting Jeff's Newsletter for a couple of years, and was really happy to be able to put his lessons to use yesterday!

We live in Utah, and hope to make some friends!
