Greetings.  Just joined in the forums after years and years of cooking with fire. The last few years I've been a pellethead but still have the BGE and UDS that get used on occasion.  I'm getting into making/smoking sausages and such so I've come here to learn.  I began smoking with a Little Chief electric over 35 years ago and have gone through the Brinkman water smokers, Smokin Pit Pro, double barrel stick burner, etc.  I've done a small bit of cold smoking with some self built smoke generators and cardboard boxes for cabinets but need something more permanent and solid.  I know the difference between a cure and a casing but not much else so I'm looking forward to reading and learning alot.

Welcome to SMF Phrett!  You'll find that this is a great place to learn and share ideas on grilling, smoking , curing, etc.  The friendly folks here genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask anytime you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
