Well starting a little late in the game at 38 but really interested in taking up smoking. I've always been a fan growing up in Texas and the military but never really got into making it myself. I was more of an eater that went around trying different smoke houses trying to find my favorite and learning new flavors. Then one day eating my favorite local BBQ here in central Texas I said i can do this and here I am.

Welcome to the group!  I got my smoker in my late 40's and never looked back!

I have smoked something just about every week for the past 4 years.  It is a great hobby, and this is the best site to share it!
