Hi everyone! My name's Chris and I live outside of Philadelphia, Pa. I've been grilling most of my adult life but discovered the joys and superiority of wood/charcoal and smoking about 6 years ago.

I have a 2 zone Backyard BBQ charcoal grill (the older model from Sam's club with the crank beds, not the lever adjust) which I grill and smoke on, it's leaky, inefficient, but it works for now.

I also have a bullet style smoker which I'll sometimes use also, and a 22" Weber kettle.

I'm an HVAC/maintenance tech by trade. Eventually I want to either build or purchase a better quality smoker.

I smoke anything from chicken to fish and I grow/smoke my own chipotle peppers too.

As you can see, I've been known to weave bacon and wrap things in it for the smoker:

I enjoy craft beer, and have been making wine with my dad for years. I've also recently started making my own beer.

Looking forward to learning from all you fine folks, and hopefully contributing some valuable posts myself.

Thanks for having me!
