Hello from Northwest Indiana

Hello all. I have browsed some threads in the past but I wanted to start contributing and honestly also start taking advantage of other people's m̶i̶s̶t̶a̶k̶e̶s̶ knowledge. I live in northwest Indiana, one of those annoying Illinois people that jumped the border for the space and lack of outrageous taxes. The wife, family, and friends have enjoyed the smoked creations so far (the two dogs have gone a little crazy for salmon skin in the past as well), and I am about to start on a new project.

I work in large scale chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing so I am comfortable with tools and projects but am definitely not as skilled at things like welding as the great pipefitters at work.
