Hi everyone from just outside of Kansas City.

I've been smoking meats for about 15 years now and found this site when I recently got into sausage making. I've found it so useful I figured I'd make an account and say hi. And also because I'm sure I'll have some questions and possibly some answers.

For equipment I've got a WSM 22, a WSM 18 that I converted to a rotisserie, an Oklahoma Joe 18, and I recently acquired a MES 30 Digital for smoking my sausages and bacon.

My other interests are beer, rum, and boating. So if you like to discuss those hit me up.

Hello from RI.

Doing the simple rewire and adding a PID may be of interest to you,you will be able to maintain set temp with absolute accuracy.
I have been tempted to do that since I first got it. But I think I'm going to hold off until the warranty expires. But in the interest of being prepared, do you happen to have a link to a good place to get the parts?

Welcome from Iowa! Glad you joined us. Lots to learn and share here. Auber has some real nice units... I have one and love it. Otherwise I believe it's JC in GB JC in GB has built some from scratch.
By golly it's 5 o'clock somewhere!
